Camps for Kids Ages 5-11
Week 1 // June 19 - 23

Down & Dirty Camp

This camp is all about laying the ground work for all things … Specifically on the farm that’s the soil; with art, we will use earth based paints and brushes; in the woods, we will go tracking! This is a fantastic first camp of the series, but can stand alone just the same keeping kids engaged, thinking, and inspired to consider the value of a rich environment.

Week 2 // June 26 - 30

Landscape & Garden Design Camp

This camp brings out the designer in us all … mapping is the key in creating successful spaces on the farm. We will learn all about landscape design and dive deep into mapping through astrology! With all our plans we will get the plants and seeds into the ground and anticipate the finest growing season!

Week 3 // July 3 - 7

Water Camp

We simply cannot have a summer camp without WATER, right? Given that it is an essential component in getting our seeds and plants to grow, we will learn all about irrigation and have fun with water all week! In the woods, we will get into the creek and learn all about bridges and dams. Plus, who can resist watercolors?

Week 4 // July 10 -14

Survival Camp

Back by popular demand … Survival in the woods and on the farm includes the most exciting components of all > building a fire, forging for and cooking foods, and making natural shelters. We will also learn all about the pollinators and their role in our survival, while creating useful tools from clay. This camp helps develop the survivor instinct in all of us!

Week 5 // July 17 - 21

Taste of Harvest Camp

Time to gather the bounty! We will be harvesting blueberries, tomatoes, beans, herbs and more! In the art department we will get cooking with the culinary arts and in the woods we will harvest wilds foods and learn about plant and tree identification. And what a feast it will be!!

Week 6 // July 24 - 28

To Market Camp​

We are off to the market this week! But first we must get everything prepared … we will cover preserving, canning, and bundling things to take to the market. We will learn the fine art of marketing and advertising (natural market style!) using items found in the woods!

About our Camps...

To help broaden the experience

  • Each camp at WBNS has a farm, art, forest, and sport component designed into each theme week.

  • The camps in this series blend nicely into one another, but can certainly stand alone as a full week experience.

  • Camps are 9am—3pm Monday—Friday.

  • *There will be a stagger pickup time TBA.

  • We take a Field Trip to accompany the weeks’ theme. Friday is (generally) the day.

  • We host 1-2 Community Visitors each week who bring the outer world and deeper knowledge to us.

  • Campers can either bring their own lunch or they may purchase a delicious, nutritious lunch for $4. Menu TBA each week. We also provide all snacks and filtered water to refill water bottles everyday.

All Camps: $195 per week / per camper

Ages Groups: 5-6, 7-8, 9-11

Earlybird Specials:
· $45 discount per camp prepaid by May 1st
· $25 discount per camp prepaid by June 1st
