Workshop #1
The Upside Of Anger (Adults, 18+)

Anger is a normal emotion that all people experience. It can be difficult to deal with, but it can also be a powerful force for good. In this workshop, we will explore the different ways that anger can manifest itself in all of us, and we will learn how to help channel our anger in healthy ways. In this workshop we will learn about what the emotion of anger is trying to tell us and what we can do with our anger. We will go in-depth with tools and strategies for ways to help yourself and your child when anger inevitably arises in our homes.
Workshop #2
Parenting Styles, Values and Boundaries (Adults, 18+)

Parenting is one of the most important jobs in the world, but it can also be one of the most challenging. There is no one right way to parent, but there are some general principles that can help parents be more effective. In this workshop parents will learn about the different parenting styles, Power Over Parenting, Power Under Parenting, Permissive Parenting and ultimately, our goal of Power With Parenting. We will also discuss the importance of knowing our own values and how they help us to create the much needed boundaries in our life and with our children. Parents will leave with a strong understanding of how to navigate conflict using our personal values and boundaries to help us guide the way.
Workshop #3
The Neurology of Big Feelings/Tantrums and Navigating Conflict(Adults, 18+)

This parenting workshop will explore the neurology of big feelings and tantrums, and how to navigate conflict in a healthy way. We will discuss the different stages of child development, and how big feelings can manifest differently at each stage. We will also learn about the role of the amygdala and the prefrontal cortex in regulating emotions, and how to help children develop healthy coping mechanisms. Finally, we will explore strategies for navigating conflict in a healthy way. We will learn how to stay calm and centered when our children are upset, and how to communicate with them in a way that is respectful and effective. This workshop is designed for parents of children of all ages. It will provide you with the tools you need to understand and help your child manage their big feelings, and to navigate conflict in a healthy way.
