Parenting workshop- Tools for Promoting Peace in our Homes

This introductory parenting workshop on promoting peace in our homes is designed to provide parents with practical tools for creating a peaceful environment for their families. This workshop will cover building positive communication, and fostering a sense of harmony within ourselves and ultimately our homes. We will discuss the relationship between parenting and anger and talk about what is happening within our nervous systems that makes us react rather than respond. One of the main focuses of the workshop is teaching different calming tools that parents can use to de-escalate tense situations and maintain a sense of peace in the household.
