Campers will learn about the four elements of nature through hands-on activities, games, and stories. They'll explore the forest, build shelters, cook over a campfire, and go on hikes. This is a great camp for kids who love the outdoors and are eager to learn more about nature!

STEAM Meets Nature Camp
June 22-26

Woodson Branch Nature School is hosting a STEAM meets nature camp with our brand new STEAM lab! Campers will explore the natural world through hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. They'll learn about everything from forest ecology to animal habitats, and they'll have the chance to build and design their own experiments, and create art inspired by nature. This is a perfect camp for kids who are curious about the world around them and who want to have some fun while learning.

This Camp will be taught by Madison County’s very own youth theater troupe “The Appalachian Actors!” In addition to theater, campers will also explore the wonders of Woodson Branch Nature School, hiking through the woods and learning about the local wildlife. This is a one-of-a-kind camp experience that will make memories that last a lifetime. So sign up today and let your creativity shine!

Survival Camp
July 13-17

Woodson Branch Nature School's survival camp is an exciting and challenging experience that will take your child out  into the wilderness.

Campers will learn how to build shelters, find food, build fires and navigate the woods. Your child will also make new friends and memories that will last a lifetime.

Farm to Table Camp
July 20-24

Farm to Table Campers at Woodson Branch will experience the magic of harvesting and cooking their own food! We will learn about the science of agriculture, the art of cooking, and the joy of eating fresh, local food. We'll spend our days working in the garden, harvesting vegetables and fruits, and learning how to cook them into delicious meals. At the end of the week, campers will have a whole new appreciation of where food comes from, and be able to cook up a storm in your own kitchen!
