Education & Experience:

I have Early Childhood Education certifications and experiences going back more than 20 years, including homeschooling my children's elementary education and being active in our homeschool cooperative. I have continued to study educational pedagogy and best practices while teaching 2nd grade at WBNS since its opening in 2016.

Teaching Philosophy:

I aim to create a consistent culture and space that allows for the freedom of curiosity and learning. Kids feel so good when they can show off what they can do, and what they know.

Favorite thing about kids:

I love seeing kids' curiosity and approaches and hypotheses for problem solving. It's an amazing thing to witness!

Favorite thing about working at MCCLC/WBNS:

The Team! I get to work with an amazing group of creative and thoughtful people, it is inspirational!
