Hi Everyone!
Hope you all had a fantastic Easter/Passover weekend! On Friday the kids had a Spring (Math) Egg hunt. They had 3 problems and were challenged to find the eggs with the correct answers. It was a wee bit wet but fun none-the-less. We have been working had on plus ten facts and making tens to solve double digit equations.
The students are working on their final book to be published. It will be our most in-depth writing project thus far. I have posted a picture below of the writing process for the project. Also, per my email, students came home on Friday with their topic outline and I am hoping that they will do a little research over the break. I also encourage everyone to keep reading. Everyone is ding so good with their focus book, that I am going to have them choose 2 more books to focus on and they can decide which one (or two) they want to read to the preschool. We are hoping to take our reading field trip in late April/early May. Each student will read one-on-one to a preschooler. We will then eat lunch and play at the rockery on the Spa grounds.
