Education and Experience: Hillary has earned a BS in psychology from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL. From there, she found a way to combine her love of teaching, and working outdoors by spending several years taking teenagers backpacking, teaching them about native plants, and helping them learn life skills with Second Nature Blue Ridge.
Since moving on from that job, she has spent the last few years working with 2 to 7 year olds and helping them find their passion in life in a nature school. She is thrilled to be joining to staff of WBNS where she can continue to help kids find their passions.

Favorite thing about kids: I love seeing kids find their passions, and share their knowledge with everyone around them. I love seeing kids push their minds and bodies to the limits and coming out stronger, and braver with new ideas on the other side.
