Resilience Rising : Fun-Raiser for Woodson Branch Nature School

Help Us Build Abundance — One Year After Hurricane Helene

One year ago, Hurricane Helene tested the strength of our community. Today, we’re rising stronger — and inviting you to rise with us.

Woodson Branch Nature School (WBNS), a program of Madison County Community Learning Centers (MCCLC), provides a Kindergarten–8th grade alternative education focused on:

  • Sustainable living and regenerative agriculture

  • Community interdependence and service

  • Positive mental wellness and whole-child learning

Our students learn by doing — growing nutrient-dense food for their school and neighbors in rural Madison County — building resilience not just in themselves, but across the entire community.

Your Gift Builds Resilient Futures

Every donation to WBNS is 100% tax deductible. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your contribution directly supports:

  • Classroom and outdoor learning supplies

  • Teacher development and mental wellness programs

  • Farm-to-table initiatives feeding families in need

  • Field trips and experiential education opportunities

Together, we can fill every child’s cup — and overflow into our community.
